Am I the only one finding it hard to make mom friends?

FTM here and I’m feeling so lonely. I swear I’ve tried to make friends with other moms. Using this app, joining fb groups, tried other apps...but I cannot for the life of me get along with the majority of them. I’m finding the majority to be so extremely judgmental or so misinformed about things that I feel like I’m just not finding anyone compatible.

Yeeeep. With my first I made a friend at a group meet up and she ended up being crazy (long story short I had a death in the family which she knew about and she got mad I wasn't answering so she stopped talking to me). Now I proceed with caution. I will say it does get easier when they start school because you're constantly around the same parents. Join a mommy and me, library classes just to help yourself socialize. We did a lot of library classes.

Have you tried MOMally Parenting on FB? I find it helpful though havent made friends off it. Or La Leche League meetings? Obviously its a bit  harder to do at the moment with social distancing and stay at home orders.

Then they are not the right mums to be friends with - women should build each other up not down.
I was lucky as I suppose I'm an older mum so most of my friends had their children before me.... Even my friends that haven't had children still don't judge me.

I watch certain moms I feel like I relate to on youtube/ follow them on instagram. It can be pretty interactive especially if they post a lot and it makes me feel like I am not alone! Until my son is a little older I don't really feel like hanging with other moms in person so it works for now.

Honestly, the only place I feel like I've connected with other moms is in cloth diaper groups since I've recently started cloth diapering my baby boy. They've been super helpful and supportive but I wouldn't necessarily consider any of them my friends. 🤷 There are going to be judgy moms pretty much everywhere unfortunately but I've been able to talk with some that are pretty cool.
