Renovation disasters

We are less than 3 weeks away from moving to our home that's been renovated by my fiance. Yesterday, we went for a walk through, last time I saw it in real time was before the renovations. We made a plan.

The layout is a upside down L shaped. Then I see the problems, he had closed the living room door for more "privacy" leaving the only Main entrance from foyer straight to the kitchen. Which means you have to walk through the kitchen, dining room to get to the leaving room.

The bathroom is so cramped up. I said since it's not so big we should decide with either a bathtub or a shower. No! He wants both of them inside, so now there is no room for a laundry basket and the sink is is sticking out when you open the door. They are not installed in yet but he refuses to make FUNCTIONAL changes.

He hasn't even walked through the house yet how it's going to be on a day to day basis.

I'm so angry and so disappointed in such a horrible layout. I'm not even happy anymore to move. In fact I don't care to move in such a bad planned house. I can't reason with him.

I've been thinking to contact his aunt who is a retired architect to look at it and maybe she can salvage something. I'm not sure he would be happy with it and don't want to go behind his back

But at this point I feel desperate. Should I let her know?
