Is this normal??

When I rub my clit, after a while when I feel like I’m close to having an orgasm I always start to shake and after that I can’t go any further so I just stop master bating there.
Is this normal or am I doing something wrong, I’m very confused.

I dealt with the same thing during sex! Like when my last bf would finger me, I’d start shaking and had to make him stop before climaxing. It got really frustrating for me because it was too intense.

You have to push through! An orgasm is the release of all that buildup and is amazing!

I think the shaking is a climax (orgasm) then once you hit that point you stop. At least for me

That just means your getting closer, used to happen to me when I was younger and didn’t know to keep going. Push through and keep going! It stopped feeling like I “couldn’t keep going” after a few times. 
You need to push through to hand the release after all the build up (shaking in your case)
