Boyfriend left

So I really need some advice I dont know what to do for the best.

Boyfriend said yesterday he had to go and leave because he missed his old life with his ex and his children.

I was absolutely devastated and asked my ex husband to take the children for me so they didn't see me upset. We got to talking and i was so hurt and angry i told him that the new boyfriend was a mistake i never once actually thought this. I was just so hurt and was saying things in the moment of short and anger.

Boyfriend call and say he loves and did I want him to come home. Of course I agreed but when he dose he asks to read my msgs that I sent to my ask. So he clearly sees that I called him a mistake. I am absolutely devastated cause I never actually meant any of it.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant with his baby and he has blocked and deleted me from contacting him and on social media platforms.

Should I keep trying to contact him or just give him space. And hope he comes home at some stage.
