Has anyone made due with breastfeeding but not having a nursing bra or tank?

I CANNOT find a nursing bra that fits! The one I have that kind of fits has a misshapen cup, so it looks really awkward under clothing and is not very comfortable. I don’t mind wearing it at home, but out in public I would feel really weird. I normally wear a 46K. Of the few nursing bras I have found that claim to fit that size, when I get them in the mail they are incredibly tight and just do not work. I have not found any in stores that work either, and now that everything is closed i won’t really have opportunity to look.

The bra I normally wear is a convertible one, so the straps pop out of a little slit and the cup wouldn’t be hard to take down. I honestly don’t plan to go out in public just a whole lot the first few months, and when I do, if I have to nurse I would probably go to the car or restroom anyway because I am very modest and self-conscious (I have NO issue with others breastfeeding in public, I personally just don’t think I will feel comfortable with it.)

I feel like I could make due with using my normal bra, but this is my first baby, so I’m not sure if it’s entirely plausible.
