Anyone else see silver stars?!

It’s happened quite a lot over the last two weeks where I randomly get episodes of seeing silver pretty stars/sparkles! 
Is this normal?

Please get this checked. Yes, even if that means you get tested at the hospital despite the Coronavirus pandemic. I’m not trying to scare you, but it IS that important! Stroke can cause disability or even be fatal
I am prone to migraines and have a past history of mini-strokes. Full-blown stroke also runs in my family.
Seriously, similar visual anomalies happen to me when I’m about to get a migraine. When I’ve had a mini stroke, it’s always escalatied from migraine first. I know stroke and mini stroke can just happen, I am lucky I suppose, that I seem to get this warning and a pay close attention to if my symptoms start escalating past my known migraine ones... 
Usually when I’m going to get a migraine, i will have a weird “not quite right” feeling with some nausea and dizziness. I will also lose my peripheral vision as well as a spherical area right  in the centre - like completely blind in those areas, it’s like someone is holding up pieces of black card or something. I won’t be able to focus my eyes on one thing for more than a split second and moving my head will give me vertigo. With a really bad one, my hands will also feel very weak and achy, with pins and needles and I’ll have a weird dull headache.
If it’s going to escalate, or should I say, when it has escalated in the past to being a mini-stroke or “TIA” (not had one for a while now), the blacked out areas of my vision will get glittery light effects such as you’ve described first of all. 
I will also get a feeling of complete numbness in my left hand which I can feel spread up through my arm to my face and into my mouth (think like when the dentist numbs half your face). I also become unable to speak and get very confused and frustrated, incredibly weak and have to sit or lay down or at least hold onto something so I don’t fall down. 
The last one was about 2 to 2.5 years ago, I was running the morning shift at work and was carrying some crates from our delivery pallets to the aisles they needed to be put out in for my guys to stack the shelves. Well I had the migraine start and was like “crap, that’s all I need! If it gets worse I’ll have to go and sit down or something”. That was fun, trying to carry the pallets when I couldn’t see properly but I slowed down and hoped it would ease off. 
Nope! In a few seconds my hand went from pins and needles to numb, it went up to my face like I said and I had to hold onto the shelves of the aisle I was in. I more or less dropped the pallet I was carrying and couldn’t speak. I managed to turn around and lean with my back against the shelf and close my eyes. Tried to walk to go upstairs and turned the wrong way at the end of the aisle even though I knew it was the wrong way. Stopped and stayed where was, leaned back against the shelves again. 
Unluckily for me, we only have a skeleton crew in the morning before the store opens and I was right on the other side of the shop floor. My guys (just 4 of us in the building) were all busy working on the pallets I’d already “spotted” for them on the other side, so no one could see me. 
Store phone starts to ring. Fuck! We get in major trouble if that damn phone isn’t answered every time it rings, they don’t care - especially if it’s the area manger or someone higher that can’t get though. I tried to answer it but what came out of my mouth were not words! I was trying to say “Hello [insert store name here]” but it was just pure gibberish - and I had a hard enough time just focusing my eyes on the phone and coordinating my hands/ fingers to press the answer button! 
Seemed like an hour went by but was probably more like 5-10 mins before it started to lift and my motor control came back slowly. I went and sat down upstairs in the office until it completely went away. When I was able to speak again, I called our store manager (was him trying to get through on the phone multiple times) and told him - he got another deputy manager to come so I could go and get checked out at the hospital. By then it had passed so they had noting to test for 😤 and could only say it was LIKELY I’d had another mini-stroke. 
I’ve heard of changes in vision being a sign of preeclampsia in pregnancy - such as blurring etc but not seeing stars like what you’re describing, I don’t know, it could be nothing and I just haven’t read it, don’t know, but its just throwing up these warning flags for me also so I really, really think you need to get seen. Better safe than sorry!

Optometrist here: it can be your blood pressure both high and low, ocular migraine, early signs of retina detachment, stress. 
Absolutely worth mentioning to your midwife or obgyn. If it comes flashes and/or lightening you should see an eye doc ASAP.

I had this, I remember seeing blue flashes. I think I googled it and it’s hormones.
