Personally before covid we stayed in a hotel for a couple months because my fiance was working in new Orleans and we waited till the end and tipped the ones who actually did a good job 20 dollars each lol

What does COVID happen to do with tipping? I think it depends on how much the room is. We typically tip $20 per day wherever we stay. Those people work very hard and do not get paid well.

Depends on the quality of service I receive. 
I don't think having to tip any job position or versly, expecting a certain "standard" tip doing the job I was hired for, should be a normal,  rather than an earned extra benefit. That being said, I also think it's sad that in the service industry, the mandatory hourly wadges is set so low, it makes it impossible to earn a "living wadge" without having to be tip a standard percentage of the service price.

It really depends on what you deem appropriate. Housekeeping tips are a little different than restaurant tips because its not necessarily expected. So anything is usually appreciated. Just give from your heart what u feel is appropriate and they usually are grateful.
        Also, id consider how messy you are and the work they have to do. If they have to “deep clean” your room  because u stayed 4+ days that takes longer than average so id give more. If u have a big mess, lot if trash, really dirty bathroom that has to be scrubbed.... a generous tip takes the pain away.
