Late period, birth control?

Ok so I’ll try and keep this short, hoping it’s just paranoia. So i’ve been on the same bc pills for months now. In nov & dec, i didn’t have periods. then in feb & march, I had 2 periods each month, at beginning and end, lasting between 4-5 days. then march 8-10, i missed 3 pills bc i finished a pack & was out of town and couldn’t get refill. on March 11, I got new pack and asked my gyno if i needed to wait until next period to start the pack and she said to just start the new pack that day. According to the app, I should’ve started on the 17th, but I haven’t. Is it just my body adjusting? I have period symptoms. me and my boyfriend have had unprotected sex a couple of times, but we were careful during the week of starting new pack.
