Weird Spotting on the Pill

I’ve been spotting for almost a week and half and I’m slightly concerned. I’ve been on the pill for about 10 months but probably 3 different prescriptions because I was having difficulty with doctors and insurance. I was trying to do continuous pills and not take the placebos. I’m about to finish this month’s pack and I’ve been getting stringy dark brown spotting/discharge for the past week and a half. Last pack I did do the placebos because I had a yeast infection (I think from some bad soap because it happened quite quickly after) and I read that having my period would help. I never fully got my period but I did get a negative pregnancy test.

Is this discharge just from me being extremely irregular with my pills or could I be pregnant? I’m usually okay at taking my pills on time, but there have been a few days where I’m about 8 hours late. I also haven’t had sex in about 3 weeks.
