Almost 8 weeks postpartum, bleeding question.

So I stopped my postpartum bleeding around 4 weeks. Had a few days break. Started my period. Have had about a week and a half maybe a little longer break from first period. And now Im spotting? Before the spotting started and after my period I still had a lot of yellowish discharge. Got checked at 6 weeks and the doctor never mentioned anything was off. Is this normal or what could it be??
