BC Advice!! Please Help!

Hi guys I’m E’livia I am 19 and have been struggling with the birth control battle! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I need some advice on what BC to take! I’ve talked to my gynecologist and the birth control she recommended me (gianvi) has some of the worse possible side effects I have ever seen! I did my research before taking it and it seems like most women who do take it end up in a depressive state after they stop or during! (Mental illness runs in my family setting me at a higher risk) I have been suffering from Anorexia for about 5 years (getting help!) so any sort of weight gain from BC will most likely cause a relapse! Although my therapist told me to stay away from BC because of this reason I simply can’t I’m in a serious relationship and I’m sick and tired of the what if’s every month! I’m leaning towards a Copper IUD but idk! 🤦🏻‍♀️
