I have pretty bad lower back/hip pain with mild like period cramps. I also feel nauseous. Should I call my doctor? I was taking a nap and I had a shooting lower pelvic pain that woke me up. I don’t know what to do

A huge sign of knowing when to call the doctor or not is the baby’s movements. Drink lots of water, take a bath and relax. If you haven’t felt the baby move in a while yes be concerned. Part of pregnancy is odd and random pains. You will drive yourself crazy if you worry about every single discomfort. Trust your mommy instincts. Call your doctor if you feel it is the right thing to do.
