How to transition off bottle?

I’ve started putting my sons formula in a straw sippy cup and he has been protesting it. 
How can I transition him off the bottle?
He Is 12 months.

We stopped cold turkey too. Whole milk in a cup with meals. Got rid of the bottles, out of the house. He will get used to it, just stick with it.

It was very easy, I literally just gave it to him and he took it. And been using it ever since

The nuk sippy cup is excellent. The nipple is soft like a baby bottle so it’s an easy transition.

There are two step sippy cups at Walmart. I forget the brand. Its been over a year since we used them. But they have handle grips and the first stage nipple is more like a mix between a bottle nipple and a sippy nipple and the stage two nipple is full on sippy nipple. Helped so much having that transition nipple in the middle.
