Membrane sweep ?

I’m 39 + 3 & I got my membranes stripped today at prenatal appt. I’m only 1 cm dilated and she said not really much effacement. 
I just wanna know, how many people was the sweeping effective for? Like did it help induce your labor? And if so how long after the sweeping did you go into labor?

With my first I was 3 cm dilated at 39 weeks when I got my membrane swept. My water broke at 4am the next morning.￼

Had one yesterday at 38&4 was crampy after then it stopped. Then had cramps again with more frequent Braxton Hicks then it stopped had a bit of spotting 8 hours later then it stopped. Now my body just aches but I don’t feel anything’s going to happen soon. So on the same page as you.

I had mine stripped at 39+2 but I was like 2 or 3cm dilated and almost fully effaced when I had them stripped. Went into labor 2 days later.
