How did you know your partner was cheating on you? What were the signs?

He was getting distant and cold. Started to spend more time outside home till late

He would sleep with his phone under his pillow, was “working” later and later, all of a sudden wanted to go out with his guy friends more, and one time the girl tagged him in photos on Facebook hahaha. He cheated on me several times. If this sounds like someone you want to date I’ll forward his contact info 😉 we have a son together and he owes me child support but I’m super nice so at least we can be friends when he cheats on you Too

He hid his phone from me and kept the screen where I couldn't see it if he was around me. He slept with it turned off. He got very defensive about me asking any innocent question about anything he was doing or who he had talked to  when I wasn't even suspecting anything at the time. .

I had no clue until the one night he was “working” and supposed to be home around 2am .. I woke up at 3 and he wasn’t home , I was worried he got hurt so I started to text and got nothing so I started to call and got nothing till about 5am and he said I’m okay you need to chill .. well I sure as fuck didn’t chill . If your okay where the fuck you at ... he turned his phone off ... about 10am he texted me and said “ your not stupid you know where I was” I said tell me ... he said I was with another woman ...

Went to his house I had gone grocery shopping for him. Opened the door and he was upstairs with a woman. He came down in a towel. Another time went there they were having wine on the couch. He proudly admitted in the end that he had slept with over 250 women in the 5 years that we were together. My stupid ass felt bad for him. He was so irresponsible, couldn’t keep jobs was bipolar. Just used me to clean up all his messes. Had tickets all over town that turned into arrests and bail and court costs etc. All I wanted to do was help him. I felt bad. He had no conscience and felt no guilt. Even with 2 miscarriages. He was a piece of shit that’s just the nicest way of putting it. And that’s what happens when you settle for less than you deserve and tolerate bulls hit because you don’t want to be alone and they get away with murder. You live and learn. And know that you deserve better.

I don’t think my partner was physically cheating on me but a big red flag that he was being a shady mofo is how secretive he was with his phone. I would watch my friends husband willing hand over their phone mine wouldn’t. I found his trail eventually and called him out on it. Unfortunately we are married with kids so i decided to stay with him but honestly if you feel like something is wrong, something  is wrong. 
Another sign I heard is work trips or working late a lot— didn’t have that red flag.
