My MIL told me...

So, I just really need to get this off my chest.

My MIL is a helicopter... always has been. And, we don’t even live in the same state as her.. anyways long story short her and her husband plan on coming down at the beginning of May yes, during this pandemic they are coming down..(I never really look forward to these visits because, me and my husband end up arguing pretty intensely after she leaves because shes controlling and manipulative. She thinks her 26 yrold son is a child, Which he is FAR from..)

Anyways, with me just not wanting her to come down, I also don’t want her to because she’s be flying, I don’t have kids and I don’t work (layed off) but if I did, I find it kinda selfish that she thinks it’s okay to risk getting sick and passing it along to other people... she plans on visiting a lot of people when she comes down here.

So, about 2 weeks ago I tried VERY NICELY to get her to atleast wait until things have really settled with this whole Pandemic and you know what her response was.... “DONT WORRY ABOUT IT SWEETIE, I HAVE A CURE FOR COVID-19”

And, by that she means her lavender,sage, lemon whatever bullshit essential oils are gonna save her life. I’m sorry but I believe in science and not some oil you just rub on your thumbs or whatever... it’s just so ignorant.
