Induction

So im 37- almost 38 weeks and my obgyn had asked how naturally i wanted to go for birth (with this virus hes offering induction after 38 weeks) and my due date is may 12th so i stated may 13th is when i really want to have her and he said thats more than fine.

Appointment carries on as normal until he tries to get her to move thats when he asks about her movements-she doesnt want to move, its like she refuses to move unless i attempt sex or have my cervix checked- i explain this and he says thats whats worrying him so if she hasnt been more active by our next appointment hes going to induce me earlier than may 11th. He stated its normal for movement to slow down but she has to twist or punch or kick or turn or stretch atleast 8 times a day after 36 weeks 😳

Anybody have this problem with their baby just not wanting to move?

I do everything they tell me to do and i even do safe stretches my ob has told me to do and those dont even work anymore.

I do go to the hospital every time and the nurse i always have checks me first then gets her to move and then we leave after an hour but this is getting to be an every other day thing- im not even joking- with my son i never had this issue with no movement but the second i hit 35 weeks her movements dropped from 15 a day down to 4 -at most- movements a day unless i have or attempt sex or have my cervix checked.

The other thing that has him worried is my blood pressure is going up- if by next appointment its up again he stated he'll have to retest me for preclamp and possible just induce me if its as high as it was before.

Im not pushing to go as far as 40 weeks so dont even suggest it- my doctor has delivered thousands of babies never lost one- and has over 14 years of experience so i truly trust him- as i should with him being my obgyn.

For those with stubborn babies how did you get your babies more active?
