With everything going on, are you waiting longer to go to the OB?

Just curious bc of #covid-19 if anyone is waiting longer to go see an OBGYN for pregnancy

Majority of doctors are doing non-essential visits as tele-visits, so if it’s deemed a necessary appointment I will go regardless of the fear. They are taking a lot of precautions and I would rather my babies care not be neglected.

I think 10 weeks is just the normal time my clinic has people come in. This is my first pregnancy so not certain on that though.

No. My OB/Midwifes office is taking special precautions. Only the person being seen is allowed in. Everything is wiped down between people. Temps are taken. Etc.

No, my OB is actually seeing my a bit earlier. 8 weeks vs 9-10 weeks, but most likely because of previous complications, not COVID.

My OBGYN is taking every precaution and seeing patients at a smaller location instead of at the hospital. I’m sure your doctor will have precautions in place! 
She actually thanked me for not skipping my appointment. These times are scary but we can’t reschedule pregnancy!

I wait cause I want my first ultrasound to be further along in pregnancy.

Our initial booking appointment (where they fill out your maternity notes ect) is now done over the phone and your first set of bloods ect is done at your first scan at 12 weeks. 
16 week appointment is over the phone then after that the other appointments are done at normal time. 
My booking appointment was don't in person though because I needed my blood pressure ect taken (it drops dangerous low in pregnancy)

31 weeks & I really can’t wait or cancel my appointments from now on
