Doppler?

Question

Before I start the “this is why you shouldn’t have a Doppler” comments, my MIL bought us a Doppler because my husband will not be allowed in any of my upcoming appointments and I’m not allowed to video tape.
I’m 11 Weeks and we tried to find the heartbeat but no luck. 
Has anyone else tried to find the heartbeat at 11 weeks, had no luck and went in for their 12 a Week Ultrasound and they found one? 
I go Monday and I’m so eager but so nervous!

If you’re not a trained medical professional, it can be very hard to find a heartbeat with a Doppler that early. Try more like 13-14 weeks and you should be able to find it. I wouldn’t worry!

I wasn’t able to find my baby until i was 16 weeks ... but i see some people on here find theirs at 9 weeks

I found my baby’s heartbeat since 9 weeks and currently 11 weeks going into 12 weeks in a few days, I still find it all the time. It’s hard but you have to start kinda of low near your lower abdomen area and angle it. It needs to be at exact spot and can easily be missed. I move the Doppler slightly every time I try to find it until I hear it then press harder and angle it down so I can hear it louder. There’s YouTube videos tips on  how to find it! :)

my doctor couldn’t find the heartbeat with a doppler until i was almost 18 weeks. 😳 they gave me free ultrasounds instead because he moves around a lot and he was small. it happens. just take a break and come back and try again later.

I couldn’t find my daughters til end of 16 weeks because of the position of my uterus.
