Infection or bite?

Okay so a few days ago I discovered a smallish red bump on my right breast. I didn’t think much of it until it started hurting. My whole breast hurts so bad, which has never happened to me before. However I got my nipples pierced a year ago and now I’m worried it might be that? The piercing itself doesn’t hurt, and I clean them once a week, but there’s a bump next to my piercing which is normal because I usually have those anyway until I clean them (i never have issues with them) So I’m curious; if it hurts around my breast and not my actual nipple AND I have a red bump/bite do you think that could be the cause? It just randomly started hurting so I’m assuming it wouldn’t be the piercing because I would know if it was infected but If anyone has piercings I’d love to know!

Side note: if it continues to hurt I will obviously go to the doctor I’m just curious if anyone else has this problem!
