Should I add him on Snapchat?

So my ex and I broke up a few years ago but have always been off and on and I’ve added him on Snapchat and then deleted him a few times , why you ask? Idk tbh it was awhile ago lol. But now I’m single again after getting out of a 14 month relationship and I really wanna hit up my old ex again and add him on Snapchat just to talk like nothing serious but just to talk again... but I don’t know if it’s a bad idea or not because I’ve added him and deleted him off my Snapchat a few times and I don’t wanna look stupid lol but that was literally 2 years ago lol so I don’t know.
