Routine for newborns?

At what age did you start introducing a routine and what did it look like? Can you share a rough look into baby's schedule?

Answer

Feeding on demand followed by a short nap, keeping baby busy every 3 hours max during the day so they know night from day and letting them sleep through the night after gaining birth weight. 
Baby most likely won’t sleep for more than 4-5 hours but that will be bliss in the beginning. It slowly increases until it reaches 10-12 hours eventually. I also find that waking at least 30 mins before you know baby will wake helps you feel like you weren’t forced to get up when baby cries for food in the morning and allows you to be in a better mood :).
