TSH levels

Hey so I’m currently 5weeks and 5 days I got blood work done 4 days ago and my tsh level was 5.32 which isn’t in the right range but when I called my doctor today to ask about my blood test results he didn’t even mention it so I brought it up and asked if that’s normal he said he usually doesn’t even bother with that , it just doesn’t make sense to me because every thing I’ve read says it’s important and and can cause miscarriage and stuff so I need opinions should I listen to him and everything is fine or should I bring it up again and push about it a little more , this is my first pregnancy by the way
