How long were you in labor before going to the hospital?

How long did it take you to have contractions every 4-5 minutes? I’ve been having them since about 5am but they’re 30ish minutes apart. Just trying to see what everyone else experienced. I know every pregnancy is different but just curious. I’ve also started having some brown/black discharge (maybe the “bloody show” I’ve read about)

Go for a walk or do the Miles Circut to see if they kick up a bit. Mine started at night, slept, then woke up and labored at home for about 6 hours (most of it active labor) before going to the birth center. I was at a 7 when I got there

When my water broke with my second, contractions just felt like my normal baby jab kicks. But even those would hunch me over. Nothing major though. But we waited three hours before leaving and it was a little over an hour drive. My water broke at 8am and I was in my room by 12:30/1pm. Then opted out for a c section due to not progressing. She was out at 9:19pm.

I was in and out of labor for a few days. I ended up not making it to the hospital when I did decide to go. ￼
