Birth control decisions

Does anyone have any good or bad experiences with birth control after having a baby? My husband and i said we definitely need to be more careful and me be on birth control again after I have this one cause after my miscarriage I got pregnant the next cycle so we wanna make sure that doesnt happen after this one is born right away.

I was on birth control pills from 13-19 and don't really like them much cause I'm not too good at taking them at the same time every day so I always have too many scares with it. My Dr said he recommends the mirena IUD but if I do that one it's better to put it in right after birth cause of everything being open and such so I gotta decide quick for that one. He said the one that goes in your arm is a good one too but I don't think I want something implanted in my arm...besides the IUD he said we would wait until 6 weeks for me to be put on it.
