How to get baby to take a sippy cup?

Doctor told me to start baby on a sippy with water. She can’t figure them out and just chews on the spout. How can I teach her to use one, and which sippy worked best for you? 
I have a nuk one with the handles, and the munchkin one with a straw and neither have worked

We use 360 cups and straw cups in my house. My first didn’t figure either of them out until he was 12 months. My second figured both of them out at 10 months. I offered them daily, they played with them, and eventually learned what they did and how to use them.

I found the ones with soft spouts mimicked a bottle and he knew to suck on it but it definitely took a while for him to figure it out

We’ve tried about 12 different kinds. Ugh. Our pediatrician was pushing me really hard to get my son on a sippy cup at 6 months. He wasn’t into it at all. We tried straw cups, 360 cups, soft spout, hard spout, and different brands of all of them. Finally at 1 i knew he needed to be off the bottle so and he really wanted my coffee so I put some in a sippy cup. He drank it. Now he will drink out of sippy cups. He will only drink milk out of a certain one but he’ll drink water out of any of them. I’m posting a pic of the cup he drinks his milk from

Just keep trying and tilt it up to try to teach them.  We use the 360 cup and a straw cup and some days he gets it, some days not lol

I started giving my daughter one at 6 months with solids. She didn’t learn how to suck out of it until 10 months. Don’t stress it will take some time. Just keep offering it. I used the basic nuby sippy cups. She’s 15 months and figured out the weighted straw cups.

Just gotta keep trying different cups and eventually she’ll figure it out. My first hated those sippy cups so I tried a hard spout and he hated it I tried a 360 something gave him a straw cup and he figured it out quickly eventually he took to a 360 cup after some time. My second is 10 months old has been using the nuk sippy cup since 6 months it took him about a week but eventually he figured it out. Just keep offering.

With my first kid, he took a weighted straw cup and a 360 cup at six months. First time he took anything other than the boob. 
My other kid was closer to 7 months before he accepted anything. The only thing he would accept for a while was a NUK trainer cup. Then a NUK first essentials cup. He also refused everything else, including bottles until then.
