Screen time

Do you limit your child’s screen time? My son is and he’s only allowed to play is iPad on fridays and Saturday. He totally thinks that’s unfair and always complains that his friends get to play whenever they like and that they all own their own phones etc. Heck I didn’t get my first phone until I was in grade 8 and that was just a basic thing for emergencies since I was walking to and from school on my own. My son also turns into a demon child when he has his electronics, he’s grumpy, emotional, angry and it drives everyone in the house crazy. Anyone else in the same boat? Are we being to strict with the rules? I mean he absolutely loves video games and plays online with his friends.
