Miscarriage or no?
So last week, I found out I was pregnant. I had 4 positive line tests and two positive clear blue digital over the course of three days. Thursday morning at about 3am I woke up to pee and noticed I was spotting. I monitored it all day and rested. It did gradually get worse but I never had any clots and I never filled up a pad, I actually just kept on a panty liner and I was fine. Most of the flow was only when I wiped. Friday I decided to call my OB because I was still bleeding and they advised me to go to the ER. Once I got back in a room, they drew blood and hooked me up to some fluids. After the round of fluids were done, they asked me to take a urine pregnancy test. A few minutes after that, the ultrasound tech came in to take me back for an ultrasound. She had asked me what was going on so I told her the story. She told me that it was surprising because my urine test they did was negative but my HCG blood level was only a 16. After my ultrasound, the doctor came in and told me that I was a chemical pregnancy because there was nothing in my uterus and to expect a normal-heavier than normal period. By the end of Friday night, the bleeding had completely stopped. I was told to follow up with my OB but when I called to make the appointment, they told me that since I was no longer pregnant I wasn’t first priority for appointments due to COVID-19 safety measures. Which to me that was crazy considering I have PCOS and my last mensural cycle was November 29th, 2019. I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. I don’t feel like it’s normal to stop bleeding after one day, especially not if your body thinks you were pregnant. I’m more worried that my body didn’t pass everything it needed to or something and that it will cause problems later.
