Breaking up?
How did you know it was time to let your long distance relationship go? Weve been doing this for about a year and a half, honestly no end in sight despite me trying to talk about it. Gets really weird when I talk about coming to him for visits - says he is going to be the one to relocate and wants to see this area, plus more financially able to afford plane ticket than me so why would I come there? It makes sense but he gets super defensive about it. Sometimes I feel like he invalidates my feelings and issues with mental health - I think this is possibly more of a culture thing..I've seen improvement but it still happens. Ghosts me until the next day if he gets mad at me. "Falls asleep" constantly, were on the same time zone. We have an age gap of 12 years, he is older.
Honestly, I do love him. I'd be willing to stick this out if communication and understanding would improve. I've tried to bring it up but it ends up being a conversation that ends in me being ghosted or him "falling asleep". I've never caught him in a lie but I've had some gut feelings about things.
