Postpartum essentials!!!!!???

I need all the postpartum essentials! Tell me what to buy! I had a c section last time and am trying for a VBAC with this one, my midwives are really positive I’ll be successful. Due in a few weeks and I need to start gathering supplies! 😂 SOS

The hospital should supply everything you need! I went overboard. I bought adult diapers and ended up hating them. It was too much work to take my pants off and bend down to change the depends every time I used the bathroom. The big pads and mesh underwear worked fine. I also made a ton of padsicles and didn’t end up using any of them. I got lots of extra ice pack pads in the hospital and I didn’t even end up using all of them. I had a pretty severe tear (technically a cut. I had an episiotomy) and very severe swelling, just for reference. The only thing I might recommend is a better peri bottle. The ones the hospital provides are definitely fine and they do the job, but they don’t hold a lot and I feel like i had to refill it a couple of times each time I used the bathroom. But other than that, the dermoplast spray, tucks cream, and witch hazel pads were plenty. Maybe buy an extra tub of tucks pads because I think I ended up running out before I was totally healed, but still wasn’t a huge deal. 
And then there’s the obvious. Pads. I bought one pack of overnight pads, and two packs of regular absorbency pads and that was plenty for me (though I did have a ton that I took from the hospital, too).
