Will you still have a baby shower during the pandemic?

Having an October baby but with the way the pandemic is going I have no idea if it will ever be safe to gather family and friends from different city’s and states all at once closer to the date. Want to see how other October baby moms are nervous about it too.

Well with states starting to reopen & what not, I’m not too concerned. I think I’ll deff be able to still have a baby shower due oct 18(: if worst came to worst, is just do a “drive by” shower. But I wouldn’t stress it too much!

I’m “due” 10/3 but will be having them before 9/18 (twins) and I know from reading people’s experiences that I don’t want to wait too long before having any kind of shower because I’ll start to slow down again and get tired. However, an actual baby shower probably won’t be possible because I doubt we’ll be allowed to have larger groups any time soon either. So we’ll probably do a “drive thru” shower, just so we can see everyone before the babies are here!

Still planning on having a shower in August. Thankfully all our family are pretty local. So as long as the rules are lifted and people practice proper hand washing everything should be ok 😁

My sister is due in October and we’re planning a baby shower Labor Day weekend. Obviously it’ll only happen if the state is reopened and gatherings are allowed. We won’t break any rules

I didn’t have a bridal shower but I really, really want to have a baby shower. I’m keeping my fingers crossed

Well since it won’t be until the end of September, I don’t see why not. In my state cases are going down steadily and people will be allowed to congregate fairly soon. Most likely for my grandparents, they will participate on zoom, but for anyone else who wishes to come I am not too worried.

At this point yes I am still planning to have one. We will see if things change over the next couple of months but we have away ALL of our baby stuff except the crib. My boys are 7 and 4 and this little one is a girl. We do not have anything for her yet and we have fire da and family who want to throw a shower and spoil her so we are absolutely planning to accept that. Here’s hoping we can 🙏

No, but it’s also my second. I’d probably do a “sip n see” after baby was born if the world was healthier and I lived closer to family to “show” him/her off.
