Depends on the boyfriend when I was in high school I dated a controlling bf and that defiantly took a toll on my performance . It’s important to keep being independent rather than dependent on a person .

I live with my girlfriend who’s getting her masters in college and I don’t interfere. I support her and encourage her to do her work but i also encourage her to take a break and save her sanity as much as possible. It’s very important to maintain both a healthy relationship and same with school.
