Would you get in a relationship 4 months after ending a previous one?

So I was dating this guy off and on (mostly off) for 4 years. Ultimately it didn't work as I didn't feel we had a best friends/deep connection, which is important to me. So I started talking to this guy I work with. It was strictly friends at first and I NEVER intended it to be more than that. But we totally vibe with each other and already am more comfortable and more connected to him than my ex. I always had a rule never to date someone I work with which is why I'm so hesitate to get into an actual relationship with him. We've gone on a date and seen each other outside of work but idk if he'll eventually ask me to be in a relationship with him. I want to but I feel I should wait since my break up was in January. I'm completely over my ex, I was done a while before the relationship ended. But I don't know if I should stay away from this guy cause we work together and it can get messy. I get that. Or if I should just let him know I don't want to define what we have as a relationship anytime soon

I met my current man like 2 months after being dumped by my toxic ex. I was a whole mess for a while, sleeping around and just not giving a fuck. I met my brothers friend (yikes!) when she invited me over for a bonfire the night before New Year’s Eve, it was just her and her bf and her brother and me. I got drunk, we were all pretty drunk. I stripped to my underwear and jumped in the pool, and he lent me sweats and a hoodie. He was a gentleman and I caught on to some flirting so, with his sisters approval, I flirted back and ended up staying the night with him. I felt kind of shitty, and didn’t expect it to happen ever again. My friend found it hilarious, but warned me not to break his heart. Ended up spending New Year’s Eve with him, too, and then my birthday which was on the 4th, and then another night a few days later... and next thing I knew I was thinking about him all the time and by the end of January, I stayed 2 weeks straight at his house. Now, I’ve been basically living with him since the Quarantine started, after he was gone for the month of February, and I’ve never been more sure that I love someone before. 
It’s definitely not how I expected things to go, and I was really worried about being ready since my ex, but it feels good and I’m genuinely happy, and he’s genuine about his feelings for me. 
What’s funny is that we’ve met on two other occasions, before the first night we spent together, but the first time he was still married, and it was tragically during his dads funeral reception, which I attended with my ex-boyfriend. The second time, was during his sisters college graduation party, while I was still with my ex, and he was dealing with his divorce. He said he “noticed” me then, and when he heard about me being single about 4 months later, he hinted to his sister to invite me over. I was at their house a handful of times before the bonfire but he wasn’t there at the same time, and I didn’t even think twice about him before our night together. 
The other irony is that his ex-wife and I share the same name.

If I felt ready, sure. I met my bf a few weeks after breaking up with my ex who I’d been with just over 3 years. We became official 3 months after meeting. I actually met him on a sugar daddy site, I was just trying to make some money so I could move out lol. But we ended up falling for each other
