your children’s newborn siblings...
so my daughter (9 yrs old) is very excited about having the baby sister she’s asked for since my oldest son (whom is 4) she says things almost everyday like “i can’t wait for my baby sister to come so i can change her and here her little cry and feed her and play with her, etc”
i was having a conversation with my mom and i told her i’m definitely gonna have my kids help when i’m unable to do something like get a bottle or bring me the wipes (nothin major) she says, “you’re the mom you should do those things” and i said “IM STILL GONE BE THE MOM BUT MY KIDS ARE BIG ENOUGH TO HELP OUT WHEN NEEDED AN SINCE I AM THE MOM THEY BETTA DO WHAT I SAY” she thinks i’m not right but idgad my house and my rules and my kids..
S/N PRIMARY PARENTS/SINGLE MOMS..
would you have your children 3+ y.o to assist you with small things around the house or if you need a lil help getting to things for baby due to being exhausted or busy?
