When to find a nanny?

Hi all- I’m looking for a little advice on upcoming timelines!

I am currently 7w and just found out it’s twins! We were originally looking at daycare or a nanny share for child care but now with two, the math says we might as well get a nanny.

I only get 6 weeks of maternity leave and then my husband will probably take his 6 weeks of paternity leave after mine but any idea when to start finding a nanny? It feels like it would be overwhelming to do during that immediate post-birth period? But can you find someone super far in advance?

Also with twins - I can’t really predict when they will come since most come so early?

Just looking for advice or stories of what other people did!
