Hubby got sent home because of “high fever”

So I wake up this morning surprised to see my husband home from work considering he always leaves around 5 am. He told me that he was sent home because his daily temperature check read “high fever.” They use a surface thermometer. So naturally, I check his temp with an oral thermometer. I check about 4 times just to be sure. All showed normal. Around 96.9 every time. Now my husband is out of work for a week because of this. I really think their reading may have been inaccurate. Time will tell I guess🤷🏼‍♀️

Update: they called him and let him know that the thermometer was broken. Everyone was getting a high reading lol he is headed to work now🤪
