Welfare housing

I wanted to know for those who’ve been through welfare housing to get a place how was your experience. We’re a family of 4 and we live with my mother in law. But the apartments where we are at are not safe for my children. We’re only 20 and not so financially stable but these apartments accumulate so much mold. I have thrown away so much clothes and shoes because of the mold. I open up windows and even bought products that “help prevent” mold. We’ve complained so many times but they don’t do anything about it. I have asthma and so does my 2 year old. And this isn’t healthy for my son and also for my 3 month old baby. When I first moved in it wasn’t like this. It just started happening over time. Im a clean freak so idk why it keeps building up. And to top it off my mother in law and sisters in law get in the way of how my husband and i educate my 2 year old. I try to put him in a schedule to put him asleep at 8pm and it just doesn’t work because he wakes up and they automatically give him their phones tv on and tablets. We aren’t comfortable living here anymore. Sorry, i just need to vent. Im just more worried of the mold because of my babies.
