Feeding baby too much?

I feel so lost! My baby is almost 5 weeks old weighing over 11 lbs (he was born 10 lbs 9 oz) and lately he just seems to be hungry all the time. He’s formula fed and we recently switched him to a different formula which has been awesome for his gas issues but I gave him a 4 oz bottle then in 30 mins he seemed hungry again so I gave him another ounce then in 1.5-2 hours he seems hungry again. I just worry I’m feeding him too much! With the new formula his spit up has significantly reduced as well.

By 6 weeks my baby was already over 12lbs and recently I went to his 2 month appointment and he’s over 15lbs. I was worried at first too because my babe also eats all the time.
It doesn’t matter how much I give him, every two hours he wants to eat 4-6 oz. Somedays he constantly wants a bottle in his mouth and will just drink that much over a 2 hour period and I keep remaking a fresh bottle. Good news is, is that my pediatrician said he’s most likely going through a growth spurt. Even if he isn’t, as long as he’s eating and not fussy, Its not a concern. I hope this helps 😊

He could be growing. Eating every couple hours is pretty normal.

Probably a growth spurt so keep just feeding on demand, they happened around 3 weeks and then 6 weeks so your little one would be due.
