Has anyone started babe on a sippy cup yet?

At 6 months (a week and a half away!!) I'm planning on starting to wean him off the boob completely and am just going to be pumping for the remainder of his first year. But I'm thinking about trying to skip bottles and just give him sippys. When dad feeds him with a bottle, he likes to hold it, til he gets lazy and makes dad do it for him 😆, and he puts his toy cups up to his mouth almost like he's wanting to drink out of it. So I think I'm going to start introducing one to him soon just to see how he likes it. Has anyone started sippys? How old did you start babe on them?
