I’ve been trying to get pregnant for over a year now. Should I be worried?
Don’t worry—but definitely initiate an evaluation. We do know that infertility’s definition is contingent upon the age of the patient. So, if you are under the age of 35 and have been trying to achieve pregnancy for greater than one year, that is deemed infertility. If you are over the age of 35 and have been trying to get pregnant for longer than six months, that is also considered infertility. If you fall into either of those categories, it is recommended that you make an appointment with your OBGYN and talk to them about your concerns.
