Im on insulin for GD and they will be inducing me at 39 weeks instead of 40

Came 36 hours ahead of a scheduled induction Natural delivery (no time for epidural) 
Born 7 lbs 3 ounces, 19 inches long. No blood sugar issues after birth. 
Diet controlled GDM.

Delivered 38 weeks due to high blood pressure. Gestational diabetes was controlled with metformin. 
Baby was 6 pounds 7 ounces.

My friend was diagnosed with GD and she managed it with diet her baby was tiny when she was born, and she's still petite now at 1. I believe she had her on time.
