Cancelled baby shower

So unfortunately we had to cancel our baby shower because of the virus and it's very disappointing because this is our first child. Anyone else have to cancel and now feel like no one is going to buy things off of your registry? We've had both our parents buy us stuff but for the most part everything on the registry is unpurchased and it's looking like we will need to get everything ourselves soon. Am I a jerk for being upset that some family are assuming no shower equals no need to buy a gift?
