For starters, start taking the pill consistently, thats how it works. If you really dont want to get pregnant you should pay more attention to the time you take it and put that in your schedule. Also that is most likely brown discharge, maybe old blood if your "period" is coming soon, but if there is no foul smell you dont have to worry about an infection for the most part. And no that doesn't look like poop honestly, looks "gooey"
