Needing to vent

Ok guys I’m so frustrated (and embarrassed) last night we went to labor and delivery for the second time due to me having contractions. But when we get there they tell me I’m not having any and send me home. This is my 2nd pregnancy so I know what contractions feel like. We live by a very good hospital so I’m not questioning them and believe them that nothings wrong, but I feel like maybe at my regular doctor appointments my doctor should talk more on Braxton Hicks. Every appointment she goes over preterm labor signs and tells me to come in if I have more then 5 contractions in an hour. Well last night I was having them every 2-5 minutes so I had over 15 contractions in an hour and they lasted for a minute long. I waited as long as possible, kept changing positions, chugged a bunch of water, but they kept coming so I called the nurses hotline and they told me to come in. But now I’m embarrassed because I called my mom in the middle of the night to come stay with our son, pulled my husband out of bed to come with and I have to tell my doctor tomorrow at my appointment that I went to the hospital yet again for no reason. Just feeling a bit embarrassed I guess 😔
