What’s a good bassinet?

Hello mamas, I’m about to have my second one in September and I was wondering which co-sleeper/bassinet is good for a small room. I live in a very small apartment. We have a king size bed and then my daughters toddler bed along with it. I just need something small and simple for my newborn up until we find a new place to move out.

We love our arms reach bassinet if you truly want a bassinet. One bonus for you is that it has a zippered area underneath for storage; you could load it with things like extra diapers, blankets, etc. 
The negative with bassinets is they only last 3/4 months. And then for you, you’d have to find space to store it. 
What are you thinking of doing with the baby beyond that? I’d suggest going with a Graco pack n play from the start. They can last much longer sleeping in that and you’ll have one less thing to store long run.

What about a playpen with the bassinet attachment you wouldn’t have to buy a crib that way

We had a Halo bassinet with my first. She hated it. Not for any reason other than she would not sleep whatsoever if she wasn’t next to me or on top of me. It’s pretty good because you can tuck part of the base under your bed and it swivels so you can keep baby right up on you or a little further away. Also the side folds down for East retrieval for those late night feedings.
