Is high protein in my urine Normal ?

I’m 26 weeks pregnant and I went to the ER due to severe pain and they did the routine stuff and did my urine I didn’t get my results til today and when I looked it says 1+ protein and said H on it. Is that normal ?

Protein in urine is a sign of preeclampsia. So your doctor needs to do further testing for sure!

Ive had the same thing but we know its preeclampsia. Just a waiting game now to see how long i can make it. Definitely make sure your ob knows cuz they will have to monitor you.

I went to the ER late Friday night because I had a really bad headache that was causing eye problems, like floaters and unable to see. My BP was 147/77, so they held me for a few hours and monitored me, and my urine had protein in it too. they sent me home to do a 24hr urine sample, and it came back Monday that I have a high amount of protein in my urine. So I have a follow up appointment tomorrow to recheck my urine and my BP again. I’m 26 weeks today.

No, you shouldn’t be spilling protein into your urine. You need to follow up with your OB
