Am I wasting OPK strips?

So I stopped taking my birth control on Monday. I’ve been using opk strips every day since then because I don’t want to miss my ovulation. Since the return of my cycle is so unpredictable at this point, should I just stop taking them and wait for my period? Thanks ☺️

Hi! It’s my first month off the pill too after 11 years. I didn’t expect things to go back to normal so quickly. My last pill was on the 2nd of May. I bled from the 5th-9th of May. Then I started testing OPK on the 9th. I got a blank circle on the first day and then I had 6 days of flashing smileys and then I got my peak on CD16 and ovulated on CD17 😊 totally up to you- it can happen for some people and it can take time for others. Everyone is SO different so you do you girl! ❤️

It’s my first month after the pill and I’m using the tests. I want to know! But I do realize I may not ovulate. So just trying to manage my own expectations.
