Herpes & Waxing ?

I’ve never got a Brazilian wax but I want to schedule one now so that when my bf comes home to visit me(he moved to OH. We are from NJ) next week for his birthday I can be nice and waxed. But he gave me hsv2 in November. So I still have outbreaks on my periods & take meds.

If I get a wax, considering how the fresh waxing might trigger my immune system, do you think I would have an outbreak after the wax?

I don’t want the wax to trigger one because I want to have a good birthday week filled with lots of good sex. I haven’t seen him in 3 months😩
