Sons name is Callan- we tend to love Irish/Scottish names. Sutton was a favorite this whole time but now really loving Lachlan. Thoughts on spelling?? Is Decklyn(Declan) too masculine? 😬

Declan, Lachlan, and Sutton are all really masculine. Why not use an actual Irish or Scottish name for girls?

All of these sound super masculine to me, especially since the middle name is so masculine sounding too. 
I love the name Lachlan for boys though!

Are you set on the name Jo? It's my middle name and everyone (absolutely everyone) spells it Joe. So irritating. In school if people knew my middle name they would either tease g.i Joe or Joe dirt. Made me hate it so much I tell people I don't have a middle name now lol

I’m not trying to be obtuse, just curious, why Irish last names as first names and not just Irish first names? Also I do think Declan is a little masculine.

Love Sutton for a girl! I personally hear it for girls far more than boys. I also like Lochlyn for a girl, and had one in my class. This was how she spelled it.
