Are you seeing family yet?

Haven't seen my parents in over 2 months. They are starting to get really upset about not seeing my son. My state is in phase 1 so just parks beaches and some business.
Are you guys seeing family yet? (not in a large  group)

Yes, from a distance!! My Dad and I go on hikes, we just stay several feet apart. We visit each other often, and wear masks/ keep physical distance. He sees my son by having “yard hang outs.” We do the same with partner’s grandma. There are ways to be physically distanced, without being socially distanced, ya know? I think that’s the important clarification to make, and also a healthy, happy medium to bond with our loved ones AND keep them safe. 💚

No. I'm from East Texas. People here are being really stupid, not listening to social distancing guidelines, not wearing masks, still gathering. I'm 34+ weeks pregnant, have a 20 month old, and a 3 year old. If I wasn't pregnant or didn't have kids, I might at least see my parents. But as it stands, I don't feel safe having my kids see anyone yet. My 3 year old hasn't been off the property since everything happened and my 20 month old only has once to go to a doctor's appointment.

Yes god knows how long you get with your loved ones and I know i would regret not seeing them if something happened. Plus if your loved one got the virus and was dying they wouldn’t let you see them.

I live with my family but I've been seeing my boyfriend's family. His sister has a 12 month baby and she's been bringing him back over to visit the whole family again for the past few weeks.

Yep! I go swimming at my parents house almost daily now for exercise. We keep 6 feet apart but love getting to see and spend time with them again. They have been sad missing out on half my pregnancy so they are excited to finally get to watch my belly grow.
